RFA Extractor v1.1

-----------------------

In order for the game to recognize the extracted files, the original .rfa file
needs to be moved or renamed.

Open RFA Extractor, File>open, choose the rfa archive where is located the file you want to change, Extract>all files, select a location for the extracted files in the main Bf 1942 directory, insert the modificated file in the extracted folder.

When you extract an archive to its folder at the Bf1942 root you must remove the .rfa archive that you extracted the files from or the game will not read the open folder (or move to a folder out of the game directory as a backup of original file).

Example of uncompressed directories:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\ai\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\aiMeshes\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\animations\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\font\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\menu\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\objects\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\shaders\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\sound\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\standardMesh\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\texture
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\treemesh
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\bf1942\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\bf1942\Game\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\bf1942\levels\
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\bf1942\levels\Midway
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\bf1942\levels\Tobruk
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\bf1942\levels\Berlin

Do not extract the objects.rfa if you wish to connect to MP servers.

If you extract one level, you must extract all levels for the game to see them.
