That heart thing is an ancient artifact that slows down time. When he holds it, it screws with his hands. I'm guessing it accelerates his life or something. SO for the stupid people it makes him older while he holds it

well, i did know that it slowed down time and how he found it, but i didnt know it made him kind of age

doom 3 was awful what makes this any better. Its textures r ok some times, but the modeling is really bad, people with hexagonal heads! :S , but its not going to get the use that the quake 3 engine did, this engine runs very badly, very inconsistant fps, and generally slow. Its already been outdone in graphics and gameplay.
