Anyone know how to put voice chat out on a separate channel to other general stuff like music, so i can have voice chat only in the headset and music/games sounds through speakers. I use teamspeak if that makes a difference.

U could get an extra soundcard. Then set up TS2 to use that one. And Windows etc. to use the old one (set as standard device) ...In theory! I dont know how well it work in practice. U can even get a soundcard as a USB device so it should be possible.

Like KSO says, you need 2 sound devices to make this work. I have this setup myself, a USB headset used for Skype, etc... works great. Every other sound goes on speaker.

Sooooooo, you are saying that a USB device is not a soundcard or a sound device? Go figure... So what does that USB headset of yours show up as in device manager? "Teamspeak and speech only USB thingy" ?????

Yes, but your USB headset is still recognized by XP or w/e as a SOUND DEVICE!! Which means it is in fact a USB sound card fitted to a headset. Wether it's USB, PCI, PCIe or ISA for that's sake is of no importance. It's a sound device, aka soundcard. END OF DISCUSSION!!! And you WILL need 2 soundcards/devices to do what HaloX asks.
