I started this thread because i was interested before how good i can hear. This homepage http://www.jimmyr.com/blog/hearingloss.html contains a application where you can play different high tunes that humans still hear. I came up to 18000Hz at normal volume but how high you come? Find it out!

Crosser, are you just listening to that sound that comes out lowly? You have to be able to hear it around you and from a distance, if you really can hear that i envy you.
It is true. The Guinness book of world records referred to that a few years back. I cant seem to find any info on this right now, my Google-muscle is stretched, I can atleast vouch for it, when I was younger I heard fluorescent lighting as a very high-pitched whine, luckily that went away with age. All I could find today on Google was this, http://www.springerlink.com/content/m268245861vu14t1/ it only shows improvement on the normal frequencies though..
