Here's the v3.5 patch that should hopefully fix the CTD issues with the Question Blocks. I altered the lod systems for them and also put in some v_arg1 code I had forgotten to put on the PCO that the Question Blocks spawn. The invisible PCO (the part that makes the kits move around on their own once spawned) has another spawner added to it that spawns the kits. It's randomized via the setRandomGeometries code.
Perhaps the lack of this v_arg1 code caused the clients to expect a different spawner then what the server decided to use. The v_arg1 code will basically limit it to only the server creating the spawners. (the BombOmb isn't held to the PCO like the kits are however. But it too was missing the v_arg1 code)
This patch rfa should be backwards compatible with Dystopia v1 and v2. Since the traffic was tested to be working now, I've re-enabled them. Thus you won't need to redo the server side mod I mentioned earlier. Test it out on the server and let me know how it goes. If it works you can go ahead and update the news post and put it on the is82 DL section.
EDIT: After some testing and redoing. The final patch build is now up. Looks like the Question Blocks don't crash anymore. You can now play the map worry free. Just keep an eye out for those BombOmbs. I still have those on the map.

Alright on a slightly unrelated note. Avatar Star (a 3rd Person shooter similar to BFH that was made in China) has had some recent updates to their game and by some miracle they done screwed up and accidently fixed the crash that occurs when I attempt to use 3DRipperDX on it.
So now I was able to get ingame and do a frame capture with 3DRipperDX to rip the model and textures from video ram.
On top of that, their game is not optimized very well at all. The ENTIRE level geometry was ripped to file. "Normally" with all the other games I've tried this on, it only captures what is being rendered on camera. Far away stuff and things off screen don't get saved.
Not so with this game. This game is so badly optimized that it renders the entire level geometry regardless of where the camera is. No wonder people had performance issues with this game.
Long story short, this makes it super easy for me to rip their levels into 3DS Max.

So....Any interest in seeing this ported into BF1942 as a cartoony infantry map for Interstate?
I'm iching to do one of these maps. The Mario Question blocks would fit well with this map and unlike Dystopia City, I won't have to worry about adding race modes and vehicles since these maps are infantry only. Though some things like the kits and the RC Minitank from Dystopia City will find their way into this possible new map as well.
An infantry only map wouldn't take as long for me to make as something massive like Dystopia City. Perhaps this could be one of my next projects for 2014?
