Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
I have created a mapping section on the is82 forum.
A lot of the mappers having been avoiding msn and other IM, as their address have been spread about and are being bombarded with questions which they often end up having to repeat.
So from now on, please post all mapping related questions on the forum instead of messaging or emailing a mapper. This way not only will the answers be available for all to see, but it can also be answered by a number of people.
Im learning to map myself, so will be able to help where possible, but I ask that other, more experienced mappers check the forum once in a while and share your knowledge
- Loafs Deathrace v4, this is an update, but ive not tried it yet so cant tell you what has been updated.
- Gazala Interstate, this was originally a BF racingmod map by grayfox, but skyline has kindly converted it to an Interstate map. Its got a good racing track and plenty of space and planes for some stunt action.
Yes, Interstate 1.8 is currently being beta tested !
This means with a bit of luck, it will be going public in 2 - 4 weeks if all goes smoothly
On another note, two people were using my name and skins name this morning. The ISR impersonation rule has the most severe punishment, and they have now been been perminantly banned.
There has been a lot of talk in the clan recently about the role of ISR.
What once started off as a simple idea of keeping custom maps in one place has grown, as so has the expectations of people.
Because of the lack of any real official rules, admins have been using their own judgement, with the consequence that some have been more lax with the rules than others, and the players being confused as to what they are and are not allowed to do.
So here is what is going to happen from now on. All admins are going to be using the rules on this site as the basis of their decisions, you can access them at any time by using www.is82.com/rules/ or using the link above. So check out the latest revision, and I will let you know if they are changed. Hopefully you will find the rules flexable enough that you can still have fun, as ultimately thats why we play Interstate.
I would like to take this time to remind some of you, that ISR and is82.com do not make interstate, it is run by people who volunteer their spare time, to make sure you can have a good game without smacktards ruining it. Playing on our server is a privilage, not a right, and I have had enough of people who think its ok to publicly bad mouth admins and their decisions on the server or site.
I hope you understand that the rules are there for your benifit, and that we can all have a more fun Interstate in the future.
