me and zorak want to know how to make server just by clicking create game or something like that. We always make them and have the other search for them but they are never actually online

If you use a Router you have to be in he DMZ or it ill not work for you... :!

 Maybe you have firewalls blocking your server to be seen.

 i have a router and i am pretty sure i can because i have before and it has worked in the past

 First make sure you put in a proper server name, and choose to start and internet server and not local.

Make sure the crappy windows xp firewall is turned off ( start, settings, control panel, network connections, right click on the connection, and choose properties, and then go into the advanced tab for the firewall tickbox ).

If you have something like norton firewall, make sure you de-activate that while running the server.

If your internet goes through a hardware based firewall/router, you either have to set portforwarding for the BF port 14567 to the internal IP of the PC running the server. Alternatively, you can set the internal IP as a DMZ ( de-militarized zone ) which opens all ports to that PC.
