i need help wit my internet connection. every minute or so, i lag out of bf, and i cant play for like 2 seconds. so if im on a turn, it lags, and i die. it says "connection problems" whenever that hapens. i have dsl/roadrunner, and a USB device for my internet modem or w/e, and it goes to the main hub which is not even 30 feet away. any suggestions?
are you using wireless? the way it looks you may need another modem or if you going threw a router i would check the settings or it could be isp. The reason i ask about wireless cause i had the same problem and had to go back to the wire.

lol! well i think thats your problem is being wireless even if your near the router your still not gonna have a good connection for gaming....just wondering which wireless router your running?

If its a linksys have a tendency to lose connection when the banwidth is being transfered. It simply can't hold more than its reciving and it just loses connection. There is nothing you can do to prevent that. Im afraid even though you move the router into your room the problem will still occur. When this happends just restart the router or unplugg it and plug it back in.There is nothing wrong with your modem. Any questions that i didnt answer contact me

DTM, why more RAM? wtf would that do, ram has nothing to do with my connection. the main hub has 512mb ram and it works fine. my comp has a gig of ram, and it sucks, so ram isnt the answer here... im moving hub to my room, and the craptastic connector to the other comp
