i'm thinking of getting a next-gen console this christmas, and i can't decide whether the 360 or ps3 is better. so far i'm leaning towards the ps3, since it has better graphics, free internet, a blu-ray player, downloadable game patches, and all the features of the psp, such as web browsing. which is better?

Playstation 3 all the way. Plus, Home is coming out this christmas, I am a beta tester and I have to say its AMAZING. Why pay to play online when you can do it free on the PS3.

I'd say, if you want more games go 360 I don't regret getting one. Just because there aren't really any titles for the ps3 that I feel I am missing out on, aside from gran turismo that is.

My poop is clean and pure as the giggles of new born babies.

I had the same problem about 6 months back. I went with the 360 and I think it was the right choice. Here is some reasons:I wouldn't buy BR movies even if I could play it, The only good web browser is on a computer, xbox live is worth the $, 360 has downloadable patches too, the graphics are noticeably better on ps3, but there just aren't that many good games at all, I also think the 360 controller is much better, and it's cheaper. I'd go with the 360...

If you want Home(why?) PS3, if you want a better game selection, 360..by far. Also might I add the PS3 DOES NOT have better graphics than the 360. Almost every single game that is on both consoles side by side comparisons show they either have the same graphics exactly or the 360 has less jaggies.

i guess i'll go with the ps3. after all, xbox's have tons of hardware issues and don't support blu-ray. there are also system updates for the ps3. plus, draw distance is alot better on a ps3

would a ps3 be able to play online on bad company against some1 on a 360? also, ps3's are alot more reliable than xbox's. the only reason games look better on xbox than ps3 is because game developers don't utilize the console's power. the ps3 has much more powerful hardware than the 360, and if it was shown in games, graphics would look alot better on ps3. in coming years the graphics will soon be alot better than 360

but no, you can't cross platform play, if you want a good looking game, wait for Killzone 2 http://www.ps3blog.net/wp-content/uploads/killzone2_3speech.jpg , I'm in the beta for that, breathtaking.
