Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
hai guise. i have an idea for something that could be fun. maybe it could be coupled with the next interstate release (whenever that is )
hopefully this hasn't been done before, so sorry if it has and i just don't know about it.
but if possible, someone should set up a time trial feature on the website. any obstacle map would be fair play. the idea being someone would complete a map as fast as they can, and when they get to the finish flag, they take a screen shot proving the time they did it in (assuming that the map timer started counting down from 60 minutes, you'd just subtract the time on the timer at finish from 60). for each map, whoever holds the fastest time would be the champion of that map until someone can beat their time. and there'd be a list of the maps, times, and champion's usernames somewhere on the website. i understand that this would probably bank on the honors system a little bit, but i think the interstate community has some cool players and it could be done.
i know morale about interstate 82 has been low lately, but new features and challenges could be something that brings some popularity back. and this doesn't even have to be limited to the bf1942 engine. it could be implemented on any future versions of the mod.
That's a great idea. Although I believe this can be done without a mod release, unless somehow there is the ability to code a time attack mode. I'll see how I can do this. Any suggestions?
oh, i didn't necessarily mean mod it into the next patch. i meant more of releasing the time trial feature at the same time as the patch so there are new things all at once. i dunno. but actually modding a time trial feature into interstate 82 would be awesome if it's possible. i wish i knew more about modding and stuff, i'd help out. haha. good luck figuring it out
@ shrooms in "Ftrack" there is a timer imbedded in the HUD. u can technically rip it off there and code it into any map. im no coder but im an idea man. maybe something like that for a starter? jw.

hm, it may be possible to have the timer show up once you enter the vehicle, maybe this can be a clientside feature
true maybe just mod it a little better and u can do it on any new map.. assuming new maps are going to be made.. or u can just do the screenshot tests and hope no admins helped?
