Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker,com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
Just follow the simple instructions in the txt file
Setup A: Independent left and right thrusters on each mouse button. Hold left mouse button and car will turn to right (left thruster only) and hold right button and car will turn to the left (right thruster only). Hold both and you go straight. This setup is pretty insane Takes a min to get used to but really helps making tight turns at speed.
Setup B: thrusters at the front (more of a pulling feeling) and instead of 2 thrusters on each mouse you have right click giving the full power of both and left click provides an epic air brake.
Setup C: Thrusters at rear but with air brake setup as above
I need to know what people prefer most or if there are any other ideas you have for these ships.
I have swapped the file in the link above for a simple patch maker to do the work for ya
rubba, I tried to set the nitro's to the main c_PIThrottle so this would provide all speed/power and then wanted the 2 mouse buttons to just provide a little left and right boost to assist steering. hoever when i swap that input i get nothing at all. i realise the 'engine' is different to the 'weapon' that the nitro is but not sure how to get it working as above. heeeeellp..
Odd... Regardless of whether the object is a weapon or an engine, especially if it's a weapon, a button press should always result in a reaction. Did we ever put speed boosts in Kartman? I would assume they were set up a similar way to what we're trying to achieve if that's the case.
If I'm wrong, then perhaps weapon objects can only accept weapon inputs?
Maybe a vehicle is only limited to 2 weapon controls. I'm not really sure.
Perhaps try using a really beefed up plane engine for main thrust instead of nitro, and keep just the left/right nitro?
