Here is the quade from gtainside.de .. And this model needs Coding and Skinning..
So i ask friendly who can code this quade and skinning.
I got Skin ;)
So, Why do you keep removing the skins? Since all gta models come with a working skin, why do you want people to reskin everything you download, while you got the skin? I dont quite understand your point. lol __________________
Probably same skinning problems I got, he has the skins, but no idea how to put them on the model. And as usual not one god damn soul wants to help. Sucks... Sorry I can't help you with the skins raptor. Coding, maybe. __________________
in max.. with pretty much any model you can select by element and find out its matid.. then apply the texture from the gta textures that (usually obviously) will map to that part.. and 9 times outta 10 it will just map perfectly.. I guess I never had any probs so Im not sure why people struggle..
Rubba... you have to step up and explain the process as you are most experienced... unless you want me to remind you of this little episode...
oh right, that. since i'm not good at descriptions, i'll do a picture-based step-by-step on applying a texture for a mat-id in max. doing a step-by-step for a whole car would take way too long, and most of it is repeating the same steps a bunch of times. it's 1:35am though so i can't do it tonight, but i'll try tomorrow night.
also flame, there is a map near completion, but it just needs your help for the last part. you know which one i mean.
(and flamin, that was kind of a low blow. that happened two and a half years ago. i took your advice and instead of seeking tutorials, i experimented through thousands of trial and error, as well as looking at other people's coding in other maps, and the planetbattlefield mdt. i took the coding research up as a hobby, and for 2 and a half years, i've stuck with it ever since to get to this point of where i am. only last month, i got working cop lights in. and just this weekend, the cleaner hydros. i still have a lot to learn about the 1942 engine. i was a fool back then, Reg. back then, there was no way i could've ever imagined myself even converting anything worth driving. but i still stuck with it, like you told me to. I would've never taken interest in customizing anything if it hadn't been for Sgt. Kindkill, but then he got killed in a car accident only a few blocks from my house, only a couple months after i met him. i kept going and didn't give up. So there you go, Reg. you were right.)
I don't code to expect any sort of fame or anything, i code because i enjoy it, and i like trying new things and seeing them come together. whether people like the cars or not, it's up to them. hell, i wouldn't mind if some people even hated some of the cars. the only reason i have so many cars but so little maps is because i have no mapping skills at all. i can't map. all the maps that i've ever coded for have fallen into disarray halfway through, or even at certain times near completion, because the layout is never finished, it hasn't overall come together cleanly, or the inspiration's run dry. often because of complications beyond my control. And i can't fix it because i'm not a mapper. __________________
