Once you got all the texture maps into one big image and import the heightmap to 3d max you can get some nice renders of the maps.. importing objects is still a mystery to me though if anyone can help..?
1. import the heightmap, change its scale to 1000%, import your objects at normal size and when setting their corresponding coordinates from the staticobjects.con, move the decimal one place to the right.
2. import the heightmap and leave it as is, import all objects at 10% scale, and use the coordinates from the staticobjects.con directly.
remember though that a positive rotation angle in the staticobjects.con or any other con for that matter is a negative rotation angle in 3dsmax, and vice versa. __________________
it is the fact that a map can have 1000's of objects that is the problem rubba.. There must be an easy way to 'mass import' from the static objects into max.. There just must be...
