guess i missed the news item about halox's birthday, but when the news item was deleted, it stayed on the rss feed

 Some RSS readers, especially the kind where one central server checks the RSS feed and then distributes the contents to all clients, will not remove items from the RSS feed that have been there once. It's just the way they work. iGoogle seems to be one of them. I, myself, am a Newsgator user, and I also have that item still in the feed. Nothing to worry about.
