 On one of my first attempts at creating some sort of 3D game, I was working with Interstate maps and got environment wrapping. This lead to Highway being completely in chrome, but mixed with the normal texture. I kinda liked the look of it. Here's a screenshot: http://ferroequinologist.de/forums/ist45.jpg

 I did show some folk.. forget if I posted it here though..

Its application is like this.. you copy entire heightmap to an object. cover that object in chrome. then walk over the normal heightmap.. enter a secret room. press 'e', press 'e' again and when you walk out of the room you are in the same place but its all CHROME!


er... yeah theres not really an application

 pretty sweet. btw u should save ur videos as .flv files so we don't have to wait a long time for media player to load it. flv player on this site loads things in 2 secs. media player's online engine takes forever
