 So do I get this right, it adds bloom to everything, but it also makes the dark things darker. Is this correct? Am I missing something? I'm trying to figure out how hard it would be to do the same for Mac OS X, I really don't have the time for that at the moment actually...

 not bad, but it looks like it really washes out the highlights on certain objects. If that was a little duller than it'd be a lot better, but other than that I like it.

 without it, bf1942 looks really dull and flat, don't think i could turn it off now i've played it with bloom.
