It can be dangerous getting caught in a Stratos rainfall... especially the 'splash' damage This is more of a stress test map really.. pointless but fun to watch. Download here: http://www.bfmods.com/dump/stresstest.rar See how you get on with it :) This was running on a core i7 extreme with duel 280's

 Wonder what causes the lag.. the effects of the explosions, or the mass of cars? collision mesh related or lod polycount

 the cars go up out of view into the fog.. theres about 12 spawns each having 400 max objects spawned
so i think theres 100's being processed at any given moment. every explosion has the 4 wheels and wreck mesh to calculate too..

that and 'old engine'

 I dont know much about game engines, but... You know how the cars kinda glide around when they flip and stuff in the air, its kinda like air resistance i guess. Is that a common thing in game engines? I love it, may be an old engine, but i havent experienced that elsewhere, or have i?
