 You cannot be serious, you can't get THAT many viruses from not scanning for a week!! Are you running a firewall? I didn't scan for a few months but my comp is behind a LAN and firewall so its a little safer....

Also, TURN OFF FISHER PRICE MODE IN XP!!!! All those nasty giant blobby buttons .... urrgghh!!

 Everything was wiped out man...i didnt have those buttons i went to wincustoms.com to get one .But yea it did and got it long and hard .Rich please dont ban me because of this my computer is still running like shit, Thats the last thing i need .Yes i am on a firewall its a hacker thats hacked through my computer hes messing with everything still is I think its devils instigator he plays interstate.been hacking ppl for a long time me was in my server a week ago.

 This is not a hacker, this is a virus that spreads by unpassworded accounts or you opened a dodgy attachement in your email.

Let this be a lesson to all of you.

1. Get a GOOD firewall, the built XP one is shit, I recommend Sygate Personal Firewall, which is free and easy to use.

2. Set a password for ALL your windows accounts, do not just have it click to login, otherwise virus's can access your PC and copy itself to your hard drive.

{SHS}M-XER, you will have to spend a long time repairing as it effects all your programs. I would backup your important stuff, no programs or screensavers, and re-install windows.

 But rich i dont open e mails much because i never get much and i always scan it with norton before i open it it so i duno how it got it got in.also 3 firewalls Nortons Windows and Linksys!And it auto scans every week!I walked in here and i was like holy shit where did this come from!Its only been a week sence i scanned!

 X-Mer, make sure you have updated your Virus checker, Reboot the PC pressing F8 as windows start. Boot in Safe Mode, and try cleaning your PC.

If files fail to clean, you have to quarantine/delete them as its purely a virus and does not have the original file left.
