 Maybe if your gun gets wet, you hang it on a pole out side to let it dry. or maybe if you run out of bullets you could start haking a way at whom ever is attacking you

 omg u dont know what the hook is for??? it hooks over your shoulder as you fire to help keep control, as that gun has a very large back kick, i think that is the SPAS 12 Shotgun isnt it??

 wouldn't the gun sort of pull ure arm off if ure idea of the hook use, was implementated. it's just part of the sholder rest probaly just for hanging the gun, all of the part go before your sholder not behind it.
