Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
360 has serious graphics. And one of the best games out. Oblivion. The best detail is in this game! I think with PS3's malfunction this opened the door for the Xbox 360. I duno maybe the fact I hate Japan made shit.
how about NEITHER? both companies are just fighting a pissing match. throwing everything but the kitchen sink into a GAME console, causing them to be outrageously priced. and its the exact same thing as last generation, just with prettier graphics.
Enter the Revolution. its not next gen gaming, its the Next Level of gaming; total immersion, and precise controll that no analogue stick can give you.
and you cant forget the virtual console, where you can download and play NES, SNES, N64, Genesis and TG16 games, as well as play GC disc's. sure, one could argue you can download roms and emulate them, but theres always some games that dont work, they are too slow, and the sound might not work right. none of these problems will exist on the VC.
all this for only about $200 dollars, not $500 for the 360, or $700-ish for the ps3.
but wait! there's more!! come may 9th Nintendo will DROP THE BOMB. expect things you never thought possible.

There is not nearly enough data about the PS3 to do a definite judement yet. Besides, what are the criteria? I, for example, don't care about the games that run on the two consoles because I'm not gonna buy either. If I did care, the fact that the PS3 can run more old games as well would certainly be an advantage.
The PS3's Cell processor is very interesting. Whether it's actually useful remains to be seen, but Sony's tactic of paying middleware developers like Ageia and Havoc looks interesting. I guess that is the only way they can make game developers use the seven (eight) additional vector cores, because using them directly in game code is likely to be a major problem when support for multiple platforms is required. Cell has it's weak points, too, for example memory access can be difficult at times. The XBox 360 is a much more conventional design, in comparison, and makes it easier for developers to use whatever they code on other important platforms, namely Windows, as well. Of course, it's not nearly as powerful.
As far as I know, it appears that Sony has the more interesting and powerful, but also more risky and uncommon design than Microsoft.
Of course, in terms of marketshare, this doesn't have to mean anything. The earlier launch for the X360 is certainly an advantage for Microsoft, with many highly profitable games (e.g. Oblivion, Tomb Raider Legend) that will probably not be available for PS3 and can therefore not help Sony increase that console's market share.

i have followed the news since day one when they said that they were going to make new consoles, as far as the facts sais the PS3 will have about 3 times better capacity and speed. There will be almost no loading times if any at all since they made a disc reader called blu ray, which can contain 40-60 gigs of storage with incredible speed in reading and writing. The only allready known bottle neck will be the price which will reach above 700-800 bucks. Oblivion for xbox360 has a big scratchback of drawn back graphics, many of the settings are just phunked up to middle or high. If you dont believe me go to www.elderscrolls.com and watch and compare the screenshots from pc and xbox360, you will find the pc pics much more realistic and nice looking. The revolution is estimated to be double the performance of the old Xbox, the good thing is that it will have a very low cost, near 150 dollars or less. The 2 piece controller will be a lot of fun i think, and the revolution is the console in my aim right now, ps3 would be if i had a better income.
