Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.

Alright, I have been thinking of a couple of ideas to spice up life here at is82.com. But before I let any of my ideas out, I want to know what you guys/gals think we can do to spice it up and bring additional content to this website. I am really interested in seeing what others have to say.

More and more active members. I think Reegad nailed perfectly what will get us those. A new banner isn't going to help, though, since it won't get new people here or make those who are here post more often. Publicity is nice and all, but once people get to the site, what is going to keep them here? As long as you have no truly great answer to that question, publicity isn't going to help anyone.
Mind you, things like a new banner and removing old links aren't bad ideas, I'm all for that. If I may add something: Dates should be given with year, currently when you look at something that's been up for a long time (the Rules section is the prime example) you have no idea when the comments were posted really. Also, that "Upload File" thingy, is that even still active?

True dat Mr.E, I like the banner, i like keeping the site classic, actually I dont care how it looks, I just dont want it to lose its Interstate'ness.
New Maps always bring 15 people on to the server for a day or two but it doesent last long.
I think people just need to get on the server, I dont understand how people could spend so much time on the site but then not play the mod, i'm gonna go right now!

Problem with the new maps is the crappy ass program that helps make them. And I know that isn't going to change, that is what has kept me from designing maps, can't deal with that POS. What I may be able to do is take existing maps and make them better

we need maps that offer map-side mods. gutted was a prime example, with it's turbo planes and boats, and it's remixed textures. the same old style of interstate without any fun map changes is what causes a map to die in just a few days. take alex's map for example. it didn't have any map-side mods such as turbo boats or new vehicle or gun sounds, and as a result, the map died in just a few days. we need maps with changes that will keep em popular for a long time. gutted is 1 of the most commonly played maps and has been for years, because it's map-side mods are addicting to the players
