So with this program we can make AI for interstate? That would be pure coolness.
To make a map that supports more mods, do you have to code only the map? I remember that single player maps had the textures (displaying ones, such as health points, ammo, map...),player models (with their textures) and effects (explosion effects...) , so it's just vehicle and weapons modding?

i'm particularly interested in the use of commands that aren't enabled. I used an unused game command in disco fever to play music in the background.
what are filemanager commands? FlaMiN's dream of downloading maps?

why only singleplayer mode?
Take a look at your ...\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942 folder\bf1942\levels
notice there are folders for maps that you have not downloaded, but attempted to connect to a server and received the "Map Not Found" message only a loadcounter.dat is found.
But what if the server sent the entire map unpacked when you tried connecting to a server with a map not installed? And then the packrfa.bat file was somehow triggered to pack the rfa and send it to the levels folder, after recieving the map not found message, user would reconnect to the server and start loading the map? Hmm, is there a possibility?
or... even easier
What if the .bat file was coded to connect to a filehosting server, check to see if the .rfa is in the levels folder, if not the bat will download the map from a filehosting server to the levels folder, when done downloading, the bat will trigger bf1942 to run..
I'm currently working with some programmer to make this work somehow.. stay tuned

Nice nice ^^ Yeah Shroom, I noticed that folders before, but is that gonna work on multiplayer?
That gave me an idea: If we need to test maps, we could use this... we test the map, find out what's to change, modifiy stuff, then rehost a server and all the players get the updated map? *Sweet*
