Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker,com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
one super cool thing about porting a map is this..
using the existing bf42 tools for max... you can import all the static objects.. everything.. into max.. then literally export that entire scene as a DAE file.. then import to Beam and it will position it all correctly, textured and with collision as separate collision entities..
you do have to setup these bf objects once to start with in terms of their materials (swap from RS to standard..) but once thats done.. all future map conversions would be 'kinda' just a few clicks really.

I have imported the stratos too.. it was not setup fully for the softbody bit but is so similar in shape to the 'Bolide' (the sporty car in Beam) that it actually deformed in crashes very well.
We have a spitfire here... which means programming will be simples! heheh
