Cochrane, if we had more time, you can have a train that works like this:

Apparently this guy is working on a full fledged functional train. Since it appears to be a proper vehicle, collision physics vs stationary vehicles would not be an issue. That and it's not limited to simple circles. Not sure how it handles changes in elevation. Appears to be a pretty flat track for the part shown in the video. I wonder what happens if it hits a vehicle...

Something tells me this guy won't finish it before the deadline for this map.
