Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
The server – To stop the constant problems of having too many maps to download, there is now a weekly map list and map pack.
The map list is given directly on the homepage, including a link to the map pack. This pack includes all the maps necessary to play on the server in any given week. Experts hope that this reduces the problems encountered because there are so many maps to load and install.
The current map list can be found in the upper right corner of the site, and currently includes classics such as Highway and Deathrace, but also new and updated maps like Killhouse and Cold.
Reegad's Birthday
Norway – Renowned interstater Reegad is celebrating his eighteenth birthday today. At the same time, the country of Norway is celebrating the 194th anniversary of it's constitution, which is, by general consent, not at all interesting. The community is certainly looking forward to seeing more of Reegad around.
New Maps And Map Versions In Progress
Forum – A couple of new maps are being made. This adds to the already rather impressive amount of maps that are yet to be finished. Spitfire, already known for not releasing the very cool maps he started, has announced that he is starting to make another one. While the community is generally looking forward to this, there have been calls for him to consider releasing the maps he works on as well.
FlaMiN, meanwhile, has released the first version of Killhouse, and is working on a new maze map, which is rumored to be rather scary and might include certain well-known ghosts. So far, no release date has been set for the maze or a newer version of Killhouse.
Interstate Nitro Release Might Happen Or Not
Airborne Graveyard – TheFlyingCorpse has announced that ISNitro is about to be released. A first upload, however, was corrupted, so it appears that it still may take some time.
Interstate Nitro is one of many projects to develop an Interstate 1982 successor. Should a release actually happen, this would make it the first of such follow-up mods that is actually released. Many members of the community have waited for this since 2004 and are generally happy about a release, though are sceptical.
What such a release would mean for the current IS community has not been researched well so far. Given that nearly all maps are for the old map, it will be difficult to say how much following the new mod will gain, say experts.
A4 to be fully six-lane
North-Rhine Westphalia – The remaining piece of the A4 between interchange Kerpen and Düren will be rebuilt to have three lanes in either direction. At the same time, the interchange Aachen will be rebuilt to three lanes per direction as well. This will close the final two-lane-per-direction gaps between Aachen and Cologne South interchange.
While these projects will, ultimately, help with the heavy traffic on the route, it will likely cause additional delays and traffic jams for the next few years to come, notes IS82.com admin Cochrane, who lives in the area.

The first one to find it will receive the title King of Interstate for the next week.
This is the last piece I'll write about your mod until I have downloaded the release version, so go and do something instead of making comments here! __________________

Watch me not care. Projects to make a successor to IS82 have promised releases since 2004. For me, you are all one big grey lump unless you do something that really stands out. __________________
