Come on. You don't even try. "Mac OS X is gay" or "Mac users are gay", I mean, let's be serious, what kind of argument is that? Let's say Ubuntu is double gay and so are you See? I win. I'm not offended by you trying to insult me, but I am offended by you sucking so much at it.
What the hell is a Mac file? What is a Windows file? What is a Linux file? The files I work most with are either program code or Photoshop files, Illustrator, PDF, Word, various video formats, ... Of course they work on both systems. Hell, even Battlefield's RFA can be edited on Mac OS X. There are some Windows file formats that cannot be viewed or edited on Mac OS X, but none that people actually use.
Mac OS X simplistic... I've said it before, I'll say it again: What the hell do you mean? What can't it do that you need it to do? It's available only for Apple hardware, OK. However, you can upgrade some of the expensive Macs, and while that may not be the satisfactory answer you're looking for, it's hard to argue that not being able to upgrade hardware is an OS limitation. If your problem is that OS X does everything you need to do, but you don't get to press enough random dialogs or follow through with wizards or something, then of course I fully understand what you mean...
Yes, I will always lean towards a Mac, as long as a Mac stays better than anything else. So far I haven't seen this status in even remote danger.
By the way, don't take me too seriously, I just like to argue. If Ubuntu does what you want it to best, then that's fine. Every OS has it's own strengths and weaknesses, and there's no reason why everyone has to use the same. Just don't expect me to port any of my software to Linux...
