gimme a break. if people couldnt see it after bfv, they should at least be able to see it now. ea is nothing more than a money grubbing pig and they dont care about how your game plays, as long as you buy it...theyre happy.

see through the shiny pretty box! its hard...i know. trust me! i love shiny things, but get a grip. you have to see it. they come out with a game, throw the begging buyers a patch once in awhile & move onto either another game or an expansion pack.

im not saying ea didnt make good games, cause heck yes i <3 bf42, bfrtr, bfv and bf2. i have all of em! they just arent interested in the things that matter. theyre just interested in the $$$$.

hence the bf2 editor, ghosty. i'm sure they have a fully operational version stashed away, but only release their halfass beta to us, so that we stay hooked, waiting for the finished product, that they can simply give us some time in the future. also, if anyone actually looks in the editor at all the vehicles there are, there's like, nothing. only about 15 spawnable objects total per team, including artillery, radar, and control tower, but only one freakin boat for the entire battlefield!! even bf1942's desertcombat has more stuff than bf2. like, the bmp2 amphi-tank thingy, the amphitank howitzer, and the SCUD! what player that's played the dc mod could possibly forget the scud? omg, i popped wheelies in that thing like crazy. and only in this expansion do they put in the freakin bmp2. it's like, a tank/apc hybrid, and it floats. also, after the release of the expansion, bf2'll end up like vanilla bf42. everyone'll only play the mod, and not the original game. the zipline is cool, but if u want spec-force-style gaming without the mod, make a map, make it night, have everyone play spec-ops. great fun.

RTR and SW were included with BF42 when I bought it, but I see no other reason to buy an extension pack for 20 € (and even less if it costs more) when I can download free mods which have way more content and are more fun to play. __________________
