ehh need help with skybox skinning

 yeah u cant do that, i mean picture a box, cut image up into 5-6 even pieces and place them according to the ENV's numbers

 unless you make the skybox properly it will still look weird.. even if you make a long image and cut into 4 blockes for the sides... its a 'perspective' thing...

I have never really made custom skyboxes.. but when i have it still can feel very boxy.

If I were you shrooms, I would find out how to make them properly using the correct software.. then you can help the rest of us!

This tutorial - Terragen Tutorial is for doom.. but also uses same software as for a bf1942 one.

Download Terragen and try it.

 lolz0rs. Good thing with bf1942 is that you'll never hit the skybox because (i beleive) it moves with you, so no matter where you are it will always look the same, with the exception of rotation of yourself.
