Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker,com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
Apline Rally... is laggy through the trees.. big time right? (unless you are uber.. and I mean uber.)
but its only laggy like that when playing online? right? offline its ok?
and GENERALLY... theres a lot of maps which offline are ok.. but online are laggy..

given that the trees in alpine particularly are only asthetic.. and their actual collision mesh (apart from the trees closest to road) is not important... we should consider removing the trees from the server version of the map. this would mean that it would look the same to the clients playing... but the coll mesh of the trees would not exist on the server.. so theres no processing serverside of that collision data.. which means lag free trees.. but still look sthe same.
This only works for static objects that dont need collision... the trees in parkland are very much 'in=play' and so collision is needed.. or maybe only half the trees have collision.. or none...
