Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.

It's alive!
Well, it's a start. Issues unresolved:
You cannot edit or save anything.
The "Save and Run" button doesn't do anything either.
The "Size" column throws odd numbers at you instead of writing kB and so on.
Searching does not work
Switching between different view modes does not work.
But hey, it's a beginning. As said above, all code resides on Google Code, so if you feel lucky, you can go and try it out. Notice that I do not give instructions on how to try it out: If you don't know how, then you're probably better off not trying it anyway.

And it goes on. I fixed the bug that caused things to crash when switching between List view and Browser view. Frankly, the Browser view is a complete disaster. Will accept only NSBrowserCells, which don't work anywhere else, crashes if it ends exactly at the end... Well, it works now. What also works is the search mode:
It's still a little rough, for example the blue path at the bottom is supposed to show you the internal path of the selected file, I forgot to set the stripey background (why do I only notice that now?), size is still not printed nicely, there are no icons - but hey, it works! As you can see, it can search both filenames and file contents, and you can freely choose which one. As always, if you feel leet you can check out the code at http://code.google.com/p/bmmt/ and build it yourself - if you dare.
By the way, FlaMiN, sorry for dissecting Alpine Rallye all the time here, but with it's thousands of files, huge size and top spot in the alphabet (so I don't have to scroll to find it), it's the ideal target.

Continuing, enjoy this:
You'll see that the search field now looks as it should (alternating background pattern, icons, the bar at the bottom shows the path of the selected file) and also that I can now open and edit text files. What I cannot do currently is save the map (I'll need to debug this some), but the "run" part of the save and run button works perfectly as discussed in this thread. I'd be making a basic demo release, but the only one who is not me and Mac user is Twi$ted, and if I recall correctly he's currently going to some foreign island, so I think I'll rather do this later when some more stuff works.
I implemented most of these changes on a train journey, thanks to the fact that my laptop's battery holds significantly longer than an hour, which is a very neat thing, even though I wouldn't have thought I needed it ever in the days before I bought my very first laptop. Do you get what I intend to say? I think you do.

Sorry for the delay. I'm studying for an examination on wednesday, so I'll put it up thursday or friday. Most of the minor glitches have been fixed (I'm just too lazy to take screenshots, sorry) and I can also save now.
One thing though: I found that the command line arguments for the map aren't working. It always loads whatever map it loaded last. When I add a specific game type (CQ) and enable content checking, it loads the correct map but crashes to desktop before it's fully loaded. Does anyone have a better incantation to load a specific map?
