I'm curious of how everybody got here, I know we all got here many different ways, I got here because I discovered Interstate on filefront.com , how about you?

I discovered interstate when my friend and I were searching through all the mods for 1942. He plays it sometimes, but I play it a lot more than he does...I then found this site when looking for custom maps, but just joined at the beginning of this summer

I discovered interstate when I read a news post on planetbf.com: " a mod with nitrous deloreans is comming out in 3 days"

My brother and I thought it was a back to the future mod. Out curiosity got the best of us.

At the same day, the Siege mod was announced to release on the same day.

I remember looking through all seeing eye and seeing hundreds of servers for interstate and hundreds for siege and tons of people were playing. The first game of interstate I ever played was countryside, it was jam packed with 64 players. when the round ended, I tried out siege.

I swear interstate was extremely popular.

back then I do remember a server that ran deathrace 1 and 2 only, I don't remember if it was the ISR server.

well i used to be a member on jetsandchopperfun or something, and i tried to join vxd, verified xpert drivers lol and the leader showed me this mod and i was hooked.

i discovered it while searching for mods on bf2 files. like shrooms, i thought it was a bttf mod

i still like the idea of a bttf mod on the delorean, itd be fun

My friend was looking through bf mods, and I was too young to know that mods arent that hard to install, and the only mods I had heard of before were cheating mods so I didnt try any, then about a year later I downloaded dc, and then a year after than I searched for some mod that my friend said was "Just a bunch of crappy cars with guns"

To find it was a godsend xD

I saw the mod announced on bf42.com (which became FPS central or something)
Then a few days later i downloaded it.. and yeah.. tons of people playing

that has to be like.. i dunno 5 years ago?

Trying a bunch of mods, I fell in love with Interstate, then I found this server to be the best admined one, less tards, and stuck with it

Ah the old days.. With the exception of Ariel/Vicky, lol. How many here remember her and Ratchets fights?
