Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
Saw a video of interstate on youtube and thought, "ROFLMAOHOLYCOWSITSLIKEAPURPLEFLYINGHIPPOPTOMOUSBUTITISEN'TITSAMODFORBF1942WOOOAAAH!!!!" So i then searched it on bf2 files, downloaded. Then i tried out one of the maps, one of the battlemaps...and i thought instantly this is sooo gay. Then I tried DeathRace and i was like WOOOOAAAHHH, and then i was hooked
My old squad played Delta force: BHD, a few of us had 1942, we mainly played DC, but we got bored one night and downloaded some mods to try, IS82 was the second or third we tried, they didn't stick with it, but I did, I remember playing when they were in a match once, fun times.

Trying a bunch of mods, I fell in love with Interstate, then I found this server to be the best admined one, less tards, and stuck with it Ah the old days.. With the exception of Ariel/Vicky, lol. How many here remember her and Ratchets fights?
Like you, I liked testing mods for bf1942, but I really liked Interstate, and then I found this server...

I don't remember exactly how I found it, but I assume it was when I downloaded pretty much every mod I could find. I don't remember the first map I played, but I think it might have been Highway or Deathrace. It's a shame I can't remember something from 3 1/2 years ago.

I got bf1942, played it a week or so, got bored, and downloaded dc/dcx, played it another week or so, someone reccommended is82, I was skeptical so I played it, first map was aurora valley, I thought it was decent but not enough ppl were playing at the time, I stuck er through second map was dr2. Man the first 2 corners pissed me off so much. I was about to quit, then DR1 came on and it finally clicked. Oh and I remember the ole white n blue forums on bf1982.com and the bitchecker story ^^
My poop is clean and pure as the giggles of new born babies.
I was having a dream about a naked women and when I woke up I was teabagging the naked babe.
thats all I remember.
I did play uber amounts of DC though... is82 just turned up... I kinda liked it.. but Battlecraft was what got me WETTING MY PANTS. I made a map for DC called 'The Boner' (seriously) which was a conquest map in the shape of a bone.
Then after playing highway and not being able to reach the Monster Trucks up in the sky i decided to make an Interstate map and give away all the secret stuff in a crappy map called monstertruck mayhem.. not to be confused with madness...
It was a terrible map.. the kits were broken as this was the days before even bw managed to get the cfg and lst files setup correctly. but you got to drive the ferrari and both the MT's
epic. although I'm sure Letranger hated me. I still feel the guilt. but I was a noob. no harm intended.

I heard about it on a german BF site that I think has long since closed, even a little before the first release. I downloaded the first release, liked it, then decided to register in the forum because I thought it needed Alfas, and thanks to the forums and community, I staid.
Oddly enough, for the most time I had no internet connection at my PC, so even though I started with the first public release, IS was already way past 1.81 when I first tried it online. Quite a change, if I might say so...
