This will be my last post in this thread on this subject so we can end the "chatbox" fanboyishness, but slick I prefer not to leave my consoles on constantly because Im not the one that bought the console or the pays the bills, so if it goes out Im not going to get one the next day persay, and I like to save power, I am the one who bought those curly bulbs, and im the one who turns the tv off when its just sitting there paused on a commercial, but the pc's stay on 24/7, even when the power goes out because all of ours have battery backups.

First off, devs are not developing for the Playstation 3 for mutiple reasons, one being that Sony is being the biggest bitch in the world and want more money then most companies are willing to dish out, go to a GameStop or whatever and take a look at the xbox and ps3 walls, PS3 has a small wall of games compared to Xbox. Microsoft, I can't believe I am saying this, actually are easier and more affordable to work with then Sony, when Sony opens there doors to devs (and for that to happen, they need to fire 80% of the PS3 dev team) then the PS3 will be the ultimate gaming console, for now it does have good games, but not the best games. Sure, the PS3 is a sexy console, it's powerful and sadly, no gaming companies are using the 8 cores that this console has because Sony isn't letting them. Cheers!

We actaully have something that we both share, I do all of the above! yay!!!! No need to heat my room up to 500F with the PS3 on all the time, lool
Mind giving me a source for that? A google-tour actually shows me the opposite. Devs are saying its hard to get started with the PS3 development, but once its mastered its very easy. They compare it to PC development. Show me a source or go away

in europe right now ps3 is outselling the 360, and critics predict that by august ps3 will be outselling 360 in north america as well. ah well, i'm still getting a ps3. say what u want bout sony not being friendly to game developers, costing them alot more than microsoft and not letting them use the 8 cores, though that is completely biased. the reason games are a bit more expensive to develop for ps3 is because the ps3 has much more powerful hardware. the 360 is an overexpensive un-reliable console that has barely enough power to render next-gen graphics, hence why it's cheaper. however, more and more gamers are realizing this and are switching to ps3, which is why all the developers are building their games on ps3 first, then porting them to 360, which is why ps3's games have earlier release dates than the 360 ports. since blu-ray has alot more space, ps3 games can be expected to have alot more features and better graphics than the 360 ports, and since game data can be stored on the ps3 for faster game loading, with a bit more research, game devs can add the ability to read the entire game from the hd, equaling up to 500gb games, the maximum a 2.5" hd can hold. u can also put an os on the ps3, such as linux or windows xp or osx, allowing u to run b1942 and the is82 mod on the ps3. imagine the graphic quality. enough of this though. we'll c after a while which console will win the console war
At the moment i have both a 360 and a PS3 in my house and the only game i wanted on the PS3 was MGS4. I also wanted Final Fantasy 13, but now that's coming out for 360 also. So meh, get what you want, but i'm sticking with 360 for the sole fact it has a lot more games that i want to play. And as for the argument of the Blu-Ray disks have more space so more features. That is bogus, Blu-Ray is really slow, devs duplicate game data and put it in empty places on the disk so the drive laser doesn't have to travel as much. Or they force you to install the game on the hard drive to make loading faster, which completely makes that point invalid.
But anyway, buy whatever system you want, they are both fine, i just prefer the 360 more.
i think the only reason ppl buy 360 is for halo 3, it's definatly not worth it. the only reason 360 is more popular than ps3 at the moment is because microsoft rushed it to get ahead of the other consoles. sony puts time and quality into their consoles and games, and their products are much better. i bet u $100 inno won't be satisfied with his 360
