Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker,com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.

well.... you really cant "open" the heightmap.raw in 3ds. The method ive found useful is to convert it to a JPG (or other common image file) using photoshop, after you have done this, create a plane or box in 3ds and add a modifier called displace, then under "Bitmap:" click on the button that says none and select the image file which you want to use. I hope thats what you were trying to do.
P.S also, you can edit the strength and decay of the displace modifie.
i mean open the physical heightmap, with all the peaks and valleys. i need to do that so i can position items for a special project i'm working on. spaz did it before.
or will the displace modifier create the peaks and valleys of the alpha layer?
