Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker,com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
The problem is that people think they have moved on. This is just an illusion that they are taking a while to spot.

"If" we end up needed players to double up on squares, I suggest we eliminate the players who never map as of late from having more than one square. Devy them up between those we are most confident in getting this done...

One idea is if we don't get 16 is to simply resize the squares to make them larger. Resize enough to knock off one row top and bottom and thus only 9 squares remain.

You know, just out of idle curiosity, if I ever did want to finish my square—which means starting from scratch to be honest, but I still have a vague idea of what I was going for—I'd have the problem that my Battlefield 1942 discs are 600 km away. Would it be possible to use the free Origin version of the game for testing the map, or does that have limitations or something that prevent this? I know I can't join real servers with it, but just for testing that wouldn't be an issue.

You can use battlecraft with origin bf1942 and you can test your created map as well. There are no differences between cd and origin bf1942 except origin bf1942 is digital. There is the issue when you create a map for a mod the editor writes a code in the init.con of bf1942. This happens in both origin and cd bf1942. Though you can remove the code that the editor wrote to join bf1942 servers again without crashing. You can join bf1942 mod servers with the code still in the init without crashing. Fixing the init is faster than reinstalling the game.

This could be a nice opportunity for me to get more mapping experience, like Madkiller and GoodDay said in the chatbox. So if you, Mr. FlaMiN, agree, I do want a square too.
Try to think Portal... i.e. clever but simple.. This would be the best route on this project I think rather than just some kinda deathrace variant.. That's not a rule.. do what you like.. but it's just a decent approach for a new mapper.. anyone can have a great idea even without lots of modding skills. 6 slots left
